I graduated from Blue Sky Educational Foundation (now Blue Sky Professional School Of Therapeutic Massage And Bodywork) in Grafton, WI with a focus on therapeutic techniques such as deep tissue massage, sports massage, and neuromuscular therapy. My continuing education has focused on additional therapeutic techniques including lymphatic drainage, assisted stretching, Muscle Release Therapy, and most recently cupping.
I have had great success treating acute injuries and headaches, chronic inflammation conditions, such as fibromyalgia and lupus, and pre- and post-operative clients. I have been able to decrease post-operative recovery time by 50% or greater when working in conjunction with physical therapy on clients that have had full knee, hip, and shoulder replacements or repair. I have also been able to help clients eliminate or minimize scar tissue years after onset.
My goal as a massage therapist is always to fix what's wrong with my client, and to leave them relaxed when the massage is done.
